      Hi Blondie2,

      lol… different sort of question! Hmm.. I guess going to conferences/ big meetings in the area of research I am working on counts as a holiday? If so, I have only been to Leicester for a conference in Natural Products in drug discovery. I am going to attend a public lecture at the Royal Botanic Kew Garden next month.

      I plan to go to Malaysia next year – to the rainforest where my plants are from!! I guess that would count as a science holiday? I will need to get enough money from sponsors first 😛 wish me luck!!

    @Jess so jealous that you get to go to Malaysia! I went to Thailand a couple of years ago, wish I’d continued south! I loved Thai food, especially Massaman curry – I’ve heard it’s similar to Malay curry?

      @zara ooo i went to phuket after my GCSEs so it’s a while ago- really loved it. I might be going to Hong Kong too see family and if lucky also Bangkok in Nov with my cousin and probably bf as well! Yeah I remember the food was really good!! I don’t think I have tried that curry but I will look out for it when I go!
