• Question: Whats the best thing about your job.?

      I really like that no day is the same. I can be doing experiments in the lab one day and then the next be outdoors surrounded by some beautiful scenery and doing something I really enjoy. All of that whilst I get to ask how and why the Earth and rocks work like they do! On top of that, I get to travel and work with some really nice people. It’s a great job :)!

      Field work is one of the best. Getting out to see geology, doing a bit of geophysics surveying and meeting with local people – can’t get better than that!

      I really like teaching too. The students are great and are really enthusiastic.

      I really like the fact that I can earn money with doing what I love to do. Also the flexibility in working hours is very nice. And I sometimes get to travel to really cool places like the Arctic Ocean.
