there is an element of truth to this, bees are incredibily effective pollinators of many many food plants, so if bees died out, we would have to find alternative food sources extremely quickly, these would be limited and thus much of the population of the planet risks starving to death if this happened, not a pleasant thought!!

Bees feed on the nectar in flowers. As they fly from flower to flower they also transport pollen which allows flowers to reproduce. There are other animals that do this, but in some parts of the world there are only bees to do the job. If they died out, so would some plants. Which certainly wouldn’t be a good thing!

We probably would not die, but there would be dramatically less choice of fruit and veg in our supermarkets!

I agree with the other scientist! I don’t think we would all die, but I think it would be bad for humans because our choice of foods would be limited, but also very bad for farmers and for the economy, so it is important we try and support bee populations.
