Question: have you ever invented something but you keeped it to yourself?

No, I’ve never invented anything!
As a scientist though, if you make a big discovery you want to share it with the world. Firstly, because you’ll be proud of your hard work and secondly, because anything you might discover might help others make discoveries of their own, so it is important to share knowledge!
