Not really! When I was at school we did have a competition to make a little wind-powered toy car and I made that with my Dad’s help. Most of my work is on the computer, doing calculations, so I don’t get to make real things. Even so, some of the science work I am doing has never been done before, and I have to write my own computer programs to do the calculations.
I’ve invented a few things, a device to scan underground which is pulled along by a vehicle or quad bike, and a device to smash rocks and record the energy they absorb
hopefully I’ll get to invent some more stuff in future!
