      Hiya dodocrowhurst

That is the biggest question in my life right now! The simple answer is I don’t know for sure. I really hope to get what is called a post-doc, this is a research position in a university, which you can do after your PhD to allow you to continuing researching. Ideally this would be with my current supervisor as he is a great person to work with, but I would also like to work abroad. But I’ll take a post-doc position anywhere if I can get one, on a project I can sink my teeth into and really enjoy. That’s what is important to me, being able to enjoy it!

      Hi dodocrowhurst,

I currently work on 4 projects all at the same time, running several expeiments for each one. Projects normally last for 3 years or can sometimes run for longer depending on the funding. While carrying out project work, we are always thinking of ideas for the next project that we could take part in. So projects overlap, as one finishes another one is starting.
