• Question: what are supercomputers and how do you use them?

      Supercomputers are basically computers capable of really really really fast processing speeds, so they can perform calculations that would take humans hundreds of years in seconds.

      That’s how I use them for my research, I tell them certain things about the systems I am studying, which calculations they need to do and they do it giving me the answers which I need.

      They save me from doing a lot of maths I couldn’t do without making a mistake as well.
