Awesome question. The water is the water in all the seas. However, species of sea life, such as corals vary whether they grow in warm tropical waters or if they grow in cooler waters. Similarly with fish, fish produce a range of different modifications to their basic body depending on whether they live in bright warm surface waters or cooler waters.
Some fish in the Antarctic waters have blood with a natural anti-freeze in it, so they can survive in the near or below freezing waters.
Sea life has shown incredible ability to survive in a range of conditions from near total darkness to freezing waters to sunny 30 degree celcius waters, really amazing stuff.
