• Question: can you make a laser sword?

      Angel,
      I’ve actually come up with a few designs on how to make laser swords, and have had many conversations in the pub with some of my science friends on how we would do this. The way I see it is you could make a laser sword with a high powe laser reflecting between 2 mirrors far apart (so more like a laser hack saw)
      my other, preffered option is to use a plasma and constrain the plasma flow in a tightly focused magnetic field.
      Unfortunately i haven’t tried any of these yet and it’ll probably cost a lot of moeny
