Yes we can! Most of the time we don’t think about how we move, right? For example when walking, or typing, or talking we don’t think about making the movements, we only think about the goal of the movement (where you are walking toward, what letter you want to type, or which word you want to say). Nevertheless our brain is involved in controlling the movements.
There are even some movements we can make without involvement of the brain. These are called reflexes. One example is what you might know as the knee-jerk reflex: if you sit on a table top and let your legs hang and someone else hits you just under your knee, your lower leg will move up, initially without control of the brain.
