  When you do science in the lab, you usually only study one tiny, specific section of science for the rest of your life! I was interested in lots of types of science, so I never wanted to research just one thing.
  
  Also, because I’ve always been creative (I love drama, media, and dance), I liked the idea of using my creativity in my work, hence why science communication was a perfect fit!
  
  You can be artsy and love science – and I am grateful to have found a career that satisfies both of those interests – working in science communication in a government science organisation, whilst still spending many of my evenings in the studio with my dancers.
