Because I got to learn about the brain every day! And it is more in-depth than say, studying anatomy. I actually started out studying biomedical sciences, which is a bit broader human biology-type sciences. After my first year of uni I specialised into Neuroscience. Make sure to pick a uni where you can transfer between biology-based courses if you want to keep your options open with a broader course at first – like at the University of Manchester where I went.
