Over the years of my career I have realized that students after school or university get out and find a very different world from the principles that they learned in the classroom. I got into mentorship with the purpose of bridging the gap between the classroom and the outside world where we give students somewhat a full exposure of the needs in the world and how to tackle them. We have smart students however their imposter syndrome pulls them down. We have innovative kids but they cannot pitch their ideas after conceptualizing them. We have bright students who cannot communicate their ideas due to the fear of public speaking and stage fright. For this and other reasons I got into mentorship.
