Medicine is evolving and anything that can help restore or improve the health of a person is a welcome thing for me. Today I read about the second ever HIV/Aids patient being treated and became free of the HIV virus through advanced treatment technologies. To use of stem cell i would say its a YES

I think it’s fine, as long as it’s used for good and not for harm.

Yes, if used for the greater good and under strict control to help alleviate illness. As with many things in medicine there are ethical issues that must be discussed and considered.

I think it’s got the potential to help a lot of people with different illnesses, because we could make treatments that are unique to each person, and encourage the persons body to help repair itself. We need to think carefully about where the stem cells come from, and it’s very important that we are very careful whenever we try and kind of new treatments on humans. Many people are concerned about using stem cells that come from embryos, however nowadays we can use stem cells that come from cells we already have, like from our bones.
