Yes – it’s part of computer science, and you can study it at university. It’s also used a lot in other sciences.

Yes, definitely! Not only is coding a science in itself, but it is used a lot in most sciences today, and it’s importance is only increasing. And you can learn basic coding online with code academy which I’d recommend: https://www.codecademy.com/
