      A very broad question!

All drugs have good and bad effects. The good effects are obvious – the salbutamol makes your asthma better.

The bad effects, also known as side-effects, are usually kept to a minimum. When we try to make a new drug, we have to consider and reduce the side-effects as much as we can.

Salbutamol is a drug that has been carefully tested and works to help with asthma and does not have any major side effects. It is very important to test drugs before we take them so we know what the effects are. Some drugs don’t make it onto the market for this very reason.
