No. Despite the media reports, Ebola is not Africa’s biggest problem. In my unit, we work on cures for malaria – which is far more widespread and kills far more people every year. Long-term, Ebola could be easily managed by wealthier nations agreeing to invest in a proper healthcare infrastructure for developing nations.

No not yet although there is a vaccine that is being tested. Won’t help the people affected today, but might save lives tomorrow
