• Question: i have a phobia of parasites, how can you stand to work with them?

      Well the ones I work on are so small you can’t see them without a microscope, so they’re not that scary. Also we only work on the parasites in a specially designed containment-laboratory where there are lots of systems to stop them infecting us. Like for example we handle them in special boxes that push super clean air over the samples so that airborne parasites can’t just drift out into the atmosphere.
