      It’s not meant to be accurate the whole point is that you throw the quadrat down randomly so that you get a general overview of the area you are sampling.

      Hi, I do not use quadrats at all but I am sure that people who do must ensure accuracy (such as sample counting) or they would not be confident in their results.
