      Hi TJeromson,

I don’t think there was a particular age that I decided to be a scientist. I had always enjoyed science at school, mostly because of the practical lessons and doing experiments. As I went through school I just picked classes that I enjoyed doing the most, which happened to be science subjects. I think when I realised I wanted to be a scientist for my job was at University studying Chemsitry. I really liked the challenge of investigating problems – finding out something that no one else has ever seen before is really exciting!

      Hi TJeromson,

Yeah I’m basically the same as Hannah! I’ve always been interested in it, and just chose the subjects that I enjoy and interested me most. This led me to doing a degree in chemistry, and it was only after speaking to my personal tutor and doing some real research that I decided to continue with it after i graduated!

      Hi,

To be totally honest I liked science but since I was little I was drawn to arts in general. When I turned 17 though, and after having some personality exams, I realised that science is pretty exciting and you actually make a difference with your work!

Do you want to become a scientist?

      Eleni
