Probably MRSA (methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus). It’s difficult to treat because of its antibiotic resistance, it can infect multiple sites on/in the body and can have quite serious effects. It can result in death, either as a single infection or as a consequence of an already sick person becoming infected with it in hospital.
No doubt, Mycobacterium tuberculosis. around 10 millions new infections, 2 million dealths per year takes more lives than any other bacteria world wide! Above all, extremely drug resistant form of TB has virtually NO cure!! Normally TB treatment takes a six months of cocktail of 4 antibiotics, whereas MDR (multi drug resistant) form of TB treatment can be up to two years with thousands of injections…a dreadful bacterial disease.
I’d probably say Clostridium difficile. It causes diarrhoea, mega colon and death if not treated by antibiotics. The is also a high spread risk as it is a spore forming bacteria.
