• Question: What do you aim to achieve out of studying bacteria?

      To learn, on the molecular scale, how bacteria make drugs.

      In turn, we can use this knowledge to improve our own existing drugs and antibiotics, or even design brand new ones to help treat disease!

      I’m hoping to help to slow down Antimicrobial resistance in order to keep the antibiotics that we currently have effective for longer.
