I work with Vascular Biologist (research scientists), Vets, Engineers, Chemists, Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Nurses, Statisticians, Animal technicians, Histologists, Pathologists, Biochemists, Physicists, Administrative people……………..perhaps you should have asked who don’t I work with!
In my lab I work with another PhD student, a post-doctoral research scientist, a lab technician and my boss – the principal investigator. However outside the lab we work with lots of other people, including physicists, chemists, engineers, doctors, nurses, statisticians, journalists, radio presenters, I.T. specialists and probably lots of people that I’ve forgotten about. It just shows that you don’t have to be a scientist to be important in science!
I work for a large global clinical research Organisation called Quintiles Ltd. We run and manage clinical trials on behalf of pharmaceutical companies.Clinical trials are necessary to make sure that drugs are working and safe before they can be sold on the market.
I work with the Mayo Clinic in Florida. We have a large team of doctors, nurses, vets, scientists, radiologists, IT specialists, data analysts, animal behaviorists…etc! It’s a big team 🙂 I particularly enjoy working with the vets and doctors 🙂
