• Question: what equipment do you use when experimenting on brains?

      Hi queenbjr

      I use all sorts of equipment. When i do brain surgery, I use a big frame, which is called a “stereotaxic frame”- it’s a bit like a compass, and helps me to find the right part of the brain- because the brain is SO complicated and made up of so many different areas- a bit like the earth, made up of continents, countries, cities, towns, villages…!!

      We also use needles and scalpels, and viruses and bacteria, and antibodies!
