• Question: If you were a doctor helping in Africa, what would you do to help the people of Africa and how would seeing the people you helped happy make you feel?

      Hi Summer (awesome name by the way, reminds me of a character in a TV show called The OC!)

      To help the people of Africa I would provide them with fresh, clean drinking water. I would also give them worming tablets and anti-cholera treamtents. I would also educate them on how to prevent HIV infection. I would also set up teeth and eye clinics- most of them don’t have glasses and many don’t have good eyesight!

      Seeing the people i helped happy would make me feel very humbled that i was able to go to Africa and help them. It would remind me that in the UK and USA we have very good healthcare, and that we have so much food and everything that we need. It would remind me that things like expensive cars and bigger homes and cool clothes are as important as we sometimes think! We have all that we need- free healthcare and good, healthy food!!
