Hi, this is quite hard to answer, because it all depends on how advanced the cancer is when it is diagnosed. For example, the survival rate for breast cancer that is diagnosed really early is around 99%, but this decreases if the cancer is more advanced and has spread around the body. Also – breast cancer is more deadly in women than it is in men.
Currently, some of the cancers with the best survival rates are melonoma skin cancer, testicular cancer and Hodkin’s lymphoma (a type of cancer of the immune cells). It’s usually considered that pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly cancers, but the reason for this is because it’s very hard to diagnose, and usually by the time it’s been found, it’s too hard to treat. If we could catch it earlier, it might not be as deadly!
