  Great question. I don’t know the answer so I’ve had a quick look at pubmed, which you can look at to find published research papers about anything under the sun. It looks like the relationship between immunity and seizures is a complex one. Seizures can cause immune problems, and immune problems can cause seizures. Some sort of immune response to seizures can protect the brain from damage, but too much..is too much, unsurprisingly. Sorry that’s a bit of a mish mash answer but do ask more questions if you like.
