Question: How do you think advances in microbiology will be made?

Not sure about microbiology specifically but my brother is an astrobiologist.

He researchers bacteria and microbes on Earth that live in extreme places, called extremophiles, like volcanoes and deserts. So with the recent activity to see what is alive underneath the arctic ice can be used to theorise whether life can exist on Pluto or one of the moons of Jupiter!
