• Question: What would be the first thing you made with your 3D printer?

      I’m very proud of a protein I have been working on recently as I was the first to solve its structure and it is a very big and beautiful molecule. So I’d like to print a model of that to keep on my desk to remind me of the work that it took and the rewarding feeling I got out of it.

      If I win, maybe you could suggest your favourite protein or molecule, and I could print a model of that for your class?

    I sent in a question about what the first thing you would make with your 3d printer would be a while ago and you said that it was your protein model that you were working on. You also asked me to suggest my favourite protein or molecule for you to maybe print out, and my favourite is Buckminster Fullerene because its a cool shape and it has a funny name! 🙂
