It was a really hard decision. In the end I decided that I would be able to learn languages in my spare time if I wanted to, but I probably wouldn’t find an evening class teaching me physics!
I found that at university I could take languages as my “optional module” and went and studied chemistry in Germany for half a year, which was the best thing I’ve ever done! There are lots of evening classes you can take at uni in all sorts of languages. I’m trying to learn Japanese at the moment!
