• Question: If you could turn back time is there any decision regarding science that you would do differently?

      I think if I was to pick my university course again, I would choose Natural Sciences instead of chemistry (Natural Sciences is when you study more than one science) because it wouldn’t have stopped me from becoming just as good a chemist as I am now, but I would have really enjoyed learning about a wider range of subjects. I’m still happy with what I chose though – I don’t think I would have been able to spend a year studying in Germany if I’d done Natural Sciences (that was only the case when I was at uni, might not be the same now!)

      I might have been a bit braver and gone and studied abroad for a bit. I spent a month in Australia working with another researcher there and I had the option to go for longer but I missed home too much!
