Hi Ann Kayleigh, it’s awesome to hear that you are interested in a career in science! First, you need to study a degree at university. This might be in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology or other biology subjects but will usually require that you study Biology and Chemistry at A level. I did my degree in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Glasgow. After that you would usually do a PhD which involves doing your own research on a project for 3 or 4 years, usually still at a university. I did mine at the Institute of Cancer Research in London.

I’m sure your teacher can give you advice and the information you need about studying at University. If you have any more questions about it feel free to ask, and good luck! 🙂
