• Question: How do we solve the population problem?

      I watched this programme recently, it was really interesting. If you ever get a chance to see it I’d recommend it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/proginfo/2013/45/this-world-hans-rosling.html
      The guy presenting it is a statistician and he thinks that the population will naturally start to level off in a few years time because people are already having fewer children.
      I think the only thing we can do at the moment is educate people about things like contraception so that they are able to stop having children if that is their choice.

      I think that population is one of those things that goes up and down with time. Over long periods of time it probably sorts itself out and is driven largely by the availability of resources.
