Question: Why do you like working with kiddies?

Working with kids is very rewarding. When a kid is critically unwell and they come to intensive care there is lots to consider; their parents are very sad and worried, they are missing school, they are still growing and developing. Everyone who works on the unit works together to try their hardest to reduce the impact of an illness, injury and their stay at the hospital. Because some of our patients die, it’s important that we can talk to and be friends with the people who we work with and the team in the kids hospital is really lovely!
