A lot of people from all walks of life; teachers, family, friends, historical figures, lecturers and my cat.

My secondary school physics teacher. Her classes were very fun and her passion for learning rubbed off on me. She also helped me see every theory in physics links together like one big spider web. I find that very meaningful and I want to spend my life learning more about physics. This is why I entered research and became a scientist.

Hmmm, tricky one, I can’t really pin down a single person, more a group of enthusiastic and supportive people. I think my inspiration was based more on what I wanted to do rather than who had encouraged me. Things are always so much easier if you actually enjoy them!
