Be curious. Never stop being curious. Ask why? Don’t settle for a substandard answer – go and find out EVERYTHING you can.
And in case I missed it: be curious.

Science is a massive field and can range from a professor through to a enthusiastic parent. If you mean ‘science’ as a job, think about what really interests you and lean your education towards that. Rarely does it work out exactly as you plan but hard work and determination can take you into science.
And finally, don’t forget that working in science can be at any level. I have no higher science qualifications but I’m working in chemistry, I am a scientist and I love my job.

Remember why you want to do science. The road to a scientific career is long and you will need a lot effort. But as long as you remember your reasons, you will be able to overcome the challenges ahead.

I would say that’s a fantastic choice! Science is constantly evolving and new things are discovered every day so you will never get bored. The majority of science work is also very rewarding. Furthermore, due to the way scientists think, problem solve, ask questions, analyse, record and communicate, you would be highly sought after in industry – and not just in science! It’s a fantastic basis for just about any career path!
