Absolutely! In the hospital I help to make people feel better, at the university I help to improve not only my student’s future lives, but all those they will help in the future

Definitely. My field space physics helps us understand what the environment around Earth is like. This helps us predict space “weather”, which is essentially the space version of wind and rain. This is important because we send more and more satellites into near-Earth space every day, and knowing space weather will help us protect them from damage by bad events – like a particularly strong flow of hot gas (plasma)!

Well hopefully none of you will require my services in the future as it would mean you were either a victim of crime or a criminal yourself!! However, I’m hoping it will improve everybody’s everyday life in that less crimes will be committed, as we will be better at catching those that break the law.
