      Crime scene investigators are called forensic scientists and there are quite a few university courses devoted to forensic science. But you could probably do it with a Biology, (Organic) Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medicine or Anatomy degree.

      It’s an extremely competitive profession though, there aren’t many jobs available so you have to be really, really good!

      Forensic Science. Universities in the UK do it – I think Sheffield is one, but look at the UCAS listings.

      I almost did forensic science – I changed my mind at the last minute…

      An actor! No but seriously, you would be a forensic scientist. Keele University has a course on it and so do other universities in the UK, it’s a competitive exciting area at the moment.
