      Microorganisms are tiny, tiny lifeforms that are literally ‘microns’ in size. A micron is 1/1000th of a millimetre, so really small.

      Things like bacteria and amoebas are microorganisms. Some make you sick and some don’t. Same with plants, some make plants sick and some don’t.
