One big regret I have from school is not trying harded in chemistry. I found it quite difficult (always more of a biologist) and ended up with a C. Obviously that didn’t matter too much in the long run as I still went to university and studied Biochemistry and am now doing a PhD but if i’d just tried a little harder and got a B I would have got a £1000 bursary from the university.

Ohh and working a little harded at maths, if you’re going into science a good grasp of maths will always help.
