Question: How many different types of chemicals are there?

I think there is an almost infinte amount! there is a set number of elements 118. but chemicals are different, water is a chemical, sugar is a chemical. basically everything you see and touch could be described as a chemical.

So how many different types of thing are there in the universe. I couldnt even guess a number that high!
