Carl Sagan and his book ‘The cosmic connection’ .
This book had ignited my childhood curiosity on UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

Edit: After talking to my Mum (thanks, Mum) I remembered my favourite book was Markus Zusak’s The Book Thief, I even wrote a review for it in English lessons!
(Before Talking to Mum answer:) This is a tricky question, and I really don’t know who my favourite is as I used to read lots of books before University. In terms of fiction, I loved series by Alison Croggon (Pelinor series) and Elizabeth Peters (Amelia Peabody series), and I read a lot by Malorie Blackman. Non-fiction, I think “What A Plant Knows” by Daniel Chamovitz made me more interested in learning about plants before I went to Uni!

My favourite series is Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy, it’s really funny and taught me loads of new words that I used to annoy my dad who had to look up what they all meant for me! I also really loved reading Hidden Figures, about black female mathematicians who worked at NASA and helped plan the first manned spaceflight. The book and film are both incredible.
