I like the way science “thinks”. I like sniffing round problems and doing detective work to get to the answers. I like being sceptical of things and looking at something from different angles to establish its strengths and weaknesses. I like the fact that it doesn’t always work in practice so you feel great whenever it does and can try loads of ways of doing it.

I am curious, I like to know how and why something happens. Science helps me find some of the answers or explains it in a way I can understand. I also like to do things for myself to learn and experiments are the best way to do this. The absolute best bit is that someone is willing to pay me to do it 😀

I like problem solving, and I really like doing experiments and thinking to myself – I’m trying this out because no-one knows exactly what the result will be. I also like to know how things work; this is very important to me.
