      Hi Jack,
I started a degree in Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry at the University of Plymouth but had to give it up after 2 years. With higher education you receive 1 credit for every 10 hours of work you do (you have to have 360 credits for a degree with honours, that’s 120 per year, so that’s 3600 hours of work in total) so when I was able to, I transferred my credits that I had earned at Plymouth (I had 200 but I was only able to transfer 180) to the Open University chemistry course…this was called Molecular Science rather than Chemistry. So although my degree name is Molecular Science, it’s exactly the same as a chemistry degree.
I hope that answers your question 🙂
