  Regardless of Mary, John and the number of apples, consumed or otherwise, the diameter of the sun is 1,392,000 km or 865,000 miles…give or take. 🙂

If I were Mary I would be very annoyed at John for eating one of my apples without asking. The butterfly affect of this annoyance might alter the diameter of the sun an infinitessimally small amount.
