Colours are the way our brains interpret the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter. There are more electromagnetic waves than we can see, e.g. infrared, but we see a small band s colours. We’re not making colours up, but they are merely a picture our brain uses tpbunderstand what’s happening!
