        My best friend is called Sebastian Wood and he is now a scientist at the National Physics Laboratory. This is an organisation that helped a lot to break the codes during the second world war. He taught me everything I know about science. We used to have lots of coffee and croissants together and do lots of exciting science experiemnts. I used to cook lunch for him every day, becuase I love to cook and he loves to eat! We both liked to explore cities and visit art galleries, so we did that a lot too. Although Seb is more clever than me – so he had to tell me lots of history!

        I had a childhood best friend called Phil and we used to do all sorts together! Playing in the woods, fields, making little ‘dens’ and things like that. Nowadays my best friend is my wife, and we do pretty much the same thing: making dens, playing in fields, making stupid noises to each other. Being married is great!

        Hi my best friend is called Louise. I have known her since we where in high school. We are still friends and my daughter is called after her. We still manage to go out for coffee and dinners every mow and again. She is a councellor and that comes in really handy when i need to talk things over with someone. She doesnt ask a lot about science but I tested her soil once for acidity.
