You would probably want to do a BSc in Physics at a good university. It is also possible to do Maths or Engineering and then convert to physics while you do a masters.

Increasingly, a lot of courses are offering an intergrated masters in physics. This is a four year course and you graduate with a master’s degree rather than a bachelor’s degree. It is cheaper that doing a BSc and an MSc separately.
