  I think if I wasn’t in astronomy I would probably like to do geology so studying the Earth – what it’s made of, the processes that go on like the movement of the tectonic plates and how all of this comes together to tell us about the history of our planet. I always liked the idea of studying volcanoes, I think that’s really cool! Although if I did this I would probably end up also looking at the geology of other planets so I guess I would end up as an astronomer again!
