I have always liked science, I used to ask why things worked a lot. I probably didn’t realise what it was until about the age of 10 when we started doing some simple science experiments at school.
I think I first really started to enjoy science when I was 11/12, but my interest for geology didn’t start until I was 13. I actually said to myself I would like to be a palaeoclimatologist at that age…it’s very strange how that’s worked out even though from age 16-19 I was pretty sure I wanted to do geophysics!
I don’t remember much about any science at primary school. I think once I started my GCSEs and we had separate science lessons (I did triple science, so had separate biology, chemistry and physics lessons) I really started to find biology especially interesting!
I never really had an interest in science in primary school but I think that’s because I didn’t know what “science” was. My favourite subject in year 6 was learning all about our solar system, which I now know is all science! (back when I learnt about the solar system there were 9 planets!)
I got more into science when it was taught at high school as a separate subject from my other classes. I realised that not only was I good at it, but I really ENJOYED learning all these new things… which is more than I could have said about many of my other classes!
at primary it was hard to learn about science however at secondary I absolutely love it I want to be a brain surgeon do u think I need the 3 elements of science ??
